GIE+EXPO Adds Value in 2009
GIE+EXPO has launched a new, enhanced website that includes an online directory of exhibitors. A standard listing is free to all exhibitors, and three other listing options are available to exhibitors and vary in price. Some new features of the various levels will include enhanced company profiles, company logos, trackable hyperlinks to websites, new product listings and more.
The industry is feeling the weight of this down economy on their businesses and purchasing plans for 2010, but missing GIE+EXPO 2009 could mean missing out on the latest industry news and deals. According to Business Media, tradeshows are of immense value to attendees, because tradeshows: help attendees become aware of new products and services; allow attendees to interact with sales representatives; enable attendees to interact with peers; and provide information that attendees can trust.
At GIE+EXPO, attendees will be exposed to the industry’s latest innovations and new products—some of which have yet to hit the market. For the first time, attendees are invited to manufacturers’ product launches and even press conferences, giving them a first-hand look at what will be big in 2010.
GIE+EXPO also provides attendees with the opportunity for quality face-to-face interactions with manufacturers and vendors. With more than 600 exhibitors indoors and out, GIE+EXPO is a shopper’s playground, with serious opportunities to discover items and services to build profits. The
education and networking opportunities give attendees the chance to learn best practices from experts, professionals and peers.
Just outside at GIE+EXPO, attendees will step into a world of outdoor products. Attendees will be able to kick the tires and test drive products before they buy. The 19-acre outdoor demonstration area is open the first two days of the show.
GIE+EXPO is set for Thursday, October 29-Saturday, October 31 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. It is sponsored by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, Inc. (OPEI), Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) and the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS).
Pre-registration for a three-day pass to GIE+EXPO is $10 per person. To pre-register online and reserve hotel rooms, go to www.gie-expo.com. Onsite registration will be $50. Additional details about the show are available on the website or by calling Sellers Expositions, 800-558-8767 or 812-949- 9200.
