Nascar’s Newman to Visit Dixie Chopper

Nascar’s No. 39 Ryan Newman is planning to visit Dixie Chopper on Tuesday, June 29, at the company’s facilities in Fillmore and Greencastle. Newman’s visit is for advertising purposes, but the driver will also visit with employees at Dixie Chopper’s headquarters in Fillmore.

Later, Newman will hold a public autograph session from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Dixie Chopper Business Center at the Putnam County Airport.

Exmark Files Lawsuit Against Briggs, Schiller For Patent Infringement

Exmark Mfg. has sued Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group and Schiller Grounds Care Inc. claiming some of the companies’ mower products infringe on Exmark’s patents. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Omaha, Neb., seeks an injunction against Briggs to cease making and selling mowers covered by an Exmark patent.
